Echoes of the Flute

Echoes of the Flute - Mark Wildyr
Between 4 and 4,5 stars.

This book is a perfect example of how a sample couldn't work.
After reading the first two books in the series, I DL a sample and didn't like it. I even wrote a short review without rating based on a sample.
How wrong was I!

One of the reason for it was...PROLOGUE.

Yes, I know that we have a new couple in the focus of every instalment. But could the author just make an old couple slowly get old in peace without KILLING them?

Yes, I know, the hard period of time...the circumstances and so on, but still....
. I had a feeling that I couldn't connect to a new couple. I missed the old one. "No, I'm not going to read it," I decided. But my decision lasted only 3 days. I was a kind of addicted to the story, to the characters and I just NEEDED to know what happened next. So, I bought it. And I'm so glad I did it.

There is more ROMANCE in it, it has more turns and twists, it is quicker, smoother, it is more enthralling and it doesn't cover a very long period of time comparing to the previous books.

LOVE IT!
