It was a very quiet story, without ups and downs, that gives you the chance to gain an insight into the life of animal shelters in the USA. 
You don't have to be an psychiatrist to know that J.T.Moss is a dog owner and a big animal lover.
Nice and short read. Not my favorite by the author, but still worth reading.
